The city of Berat
Located in the center of Albania, on the Osum River, Berat was built as a glorious castle on a hill. You can find the original ancient castle on this hill called the Castle. The great castle contains a whole district with many mosques and churches, which is really worth visiting. An important feature of Berat is that the houses in this area have large windows. The small villages that are located around are another feature, which you can visit in just one day trip.
